WHAT IS THE SHIPPING POLICY?

Free Shipping on orders in the U.S.
Orders placed with Free Ground Shipping will ship within 1-2 business days.
All orders qualify for full refunds, merchandise credit, or exchanges for full price merchandise for up to 14 days after purchase.

Free Shipping
Sign up for our thestrideon Club (it's free to sign up) and get fast, free shipping on most orders over $69.9 in the continental US for free. 

Clearance items will always require paid shipping, regardless of membership status.

Signature Requirement
All orders shipped through  thestrideon.com are shipped with signature required by default unless otherwise requested. Please reach out to us in advance of your order being shipped if you would like it shipped without a signature.

thestrideon.com is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen when a package is requested to be shipped without a signature requirement.

Damaged or Missing Packages
 thestrideon.com must be made aware of any issues with delivery within 24 hours of delivery. Damaged or missing items after the 24 hour period while need to be handled under manufacturer warranty or through a claim with the courier.

International Shipping
Some items sold on thestrideon.com are eligible for international shipping. Unfortunately due to specific restrictions from our vendors, we are unable to ship everything on  thestrideon.com internationally.

Shipping prices can be seen at checkout and are calculated based on your location.

International returns do not receive pre-paid shipping labels and are shipped at the buyer's expense.  thestrideon.com is not responsible for items lost in transit.

If you use a freight forwarder or third-party shipping service, thestrideon.com's liability for damage, loss, or theft ends upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. We are not responsible for damage occurring during reshipment or for any export compliance issues arising from the forwarder's actions.

International Purchases of Electronics
All electronics purchased from  thestrideon.com will feature the standard US 120V configuration and are made for the US market (including plugs). Depending on your location, you may need a different configuration. 

Import Taxes and Freight Processing Fees
thestrideon.com is not responsible for any import taxes or processing fees specific to your country.

Refusal to pay any import taxes and/or processing fees may result in your package being returned to us. In this case, you will be charged for two-way freight charges, which will be deducted from your refund.

Additionally, refusal to pay any import taxes and/or processing fees may result in your package being destroyed by your local post office or customs. If this occurs, any requests for refunds will be rejected.

For a seamless delivery experience, we advise all customers to be aware of their country's import regulations and fees before placing an order.

How Soon Will My Order Ship
We strive for every item we have on the website to be in stock and ready to ship Within three days. So if your order is in stock and you place your order before 1pm PST, it will ship that same day, Monday-Friday. At this time we do not offer shipping on weekends.

Sometimes, we like to give our customers the opportunity to place orders on backordered items or pre-orders. In those situations, it will be clearly written on the page that the product is backordered or available for pre-order. Pre-order and backordered items will be shipped out once the item is back in stock on a first come, first serve basis.

Refund Policy

365-Day Returns

We created thestrideon.com with the vision of the shoe store of our dreams. As shoe enthusiasts, they dreamed of owning a store offering 365-day returns.

So, they decided to try and make 365-day returns a reality—no matter how absurd it sounded to their friends. Years later, they're still going strong, and their friends still think they're crazy.

We want you to enjoy your purchases for years, not just weeks. If you're not satisfied, you can return the item in brand-new condition within 365 days.

Returns initiated and handed to a courier within 30 days of receipt will be refunded to your original payment account. After 30 days, the refund will be issued as store points.

Return Process

Returning is very simple; just fill out our return form. For warranty issues, please email service@thestrideon.com. Warranty exchanges made through the portal will be automatically cancelled. Please be sure to provide your product serial number and a detailed reason for the return. If you do not provide a reason for the return, your return request may be rejected.

Once your return request is accepted, you will receive a return label. Our team will receive and inspect your item and process your refund via your original payment method or store points. The inspection process may take 5-7 business days.

Even if thestrideon.com provides a return label, you are still responsible for ensuring the returned item is delivered to thestrideon.com. If the returned item is not delivered, thestrideon.com will not be able to process your refund.

The return label will be sent to your original purchase address. The package must be delivered to the state/province/municipality that matches the address on the return label.

After receiving the return label, you have 7 business days to ship the returned item. If your returned item is not returned to the courier company within 7 days, we will charge an additional 30% restocking fee. If your returned item is not returned to the courier company within 30 days, we will no longer accept your return request.

Defective Goods

If you wish to return a defective item, it must first be repaired under the manufacturer's warranty before you can receive a refund. If the manufacturer claims the item is beyond repair due to out-of-warranty damage, we will return the item to you without a refund.

Return Eligibility

Your item must be in brand new condition and include its original packaging, accessories, and instructions. Please use the original packaging to protect it from damage during shipping.

Items that have been returned and then repurchased (e.g., purchasing and returning Cat Second Steel Toe Boots; repurchasing them would not qualify for return).

Price Matching Items

Items (Clothing, Hats, Placemats, etc.)

Accessories, such as socks, backpacks (for hygiene reasons)

Gift Cards/Store Points

These items are still covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Items marked "Clearance" are not covered by warranty.

*thestrideon.com reserves the right to refuse returns for any items that are soiled, damaged, or missing their original packaging or accessories.

Cryptocurrency

If you paid with cryptocurrency, we will offer one of two refund options, depending on the circumstances: (1) a refund of the cryptocurrency amount used to purchase; (2) a refund of the USD amount used to purchase.

Restocking Fee

Updated June 5, 2025. This policy update applies to orders placed after this date.

We have never considered charging a restocking fee and have always believed it contradicts the spirit of our customer-centric return policy. Therefore, we have decided to eliminate the restocking fee.

Currently, fees will only apply if you exceed our return limit within 365 days; the returned item is soiled; or you received a free gift with your purchase:

Missing accessories or original packaging - Non-refundable

Headphones with earwax or dirt - +25%

Returning more than 2 items within 365 days - +25%

Not shipping the item within 7 days of receiving the return label - +30%

Orders with free gifts - The full retail price of the gift will be deducted.

Order Cancellation

All Affirm/Shop-Pay installment orders are subject to a 5% cancellation fee.

For all other payment methods, your first order cancellation is free. Subsequent cancellations will incur a 5% cancellation fee. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that require order cancellation, but a non-refundable payment processing fee applies to each transaction.

Special orders are non-refundable and non-returnable. Special orders may ship earlier or later than the expected shipping time, but this does not constitute grounds for order cancellation.
